Ean, are you using it as a display for engine as default?
I've found with mine that I need to change the startup mode so it doesn't act as instruments, then unplug it, then plug it back in.

Gday All,
My Nanocom has decided not to communicate with the ECU but talks to the engine.
This is both when connected to the laptop or not..
Any suggestions, thanks in advance..
Cheers Ean

Gday Fraser,
Not sure, im not that good at driving it yet, this is the 1st time i,ve used it with the laptop, but when I tried to use it on its own it said the same thing.
Looks like I have some reading to do..
Cheers Ean
Hey Ean
I find with the SLABS ECU that I get right thru to the last button push to read the faults, THEN I turn the igintion on (dash lights on), then read faults, and most times it will read OK. Engine on, no work. Ignition off/aux' position ... no work. If it doesn't read first time like this, ignition off, setup to read, ign' ON and read.
Hope that gets you there.
Kev..
Thanks for that the nanocom is definately in normal mode and I tried it in instuments but that didn't work either..
Will have another play tommorrow..
Cheers Ean
