Too many unknowns to quote a price. Its often a case of wait and see on the day , buyers might get auction fever and inflate the price. As in most auctions, you have to do your homework, and this cant be done without inspection of the vehicles. on the day of the auctions hard to say but when things quiet down I would say between 4-8 thou depending for a gs with winch thats a bit more than what countys are going for. A good condition late refurb might even fetch $12000,much more and they will not sell many

I guess it would depend on how much it would cost to make it into the vehicle you want.I would pay 8 grand for one but it would need that again spent on it to suit my needs.You are getting into Td5 territory then and for a civy vehicle I think they are a better option. Pat

Indeed - even the mogs only have 2 coils, a panhard rod and a torque tube!

I think Dave must have been off with the fairies when he typed that. The new Gs seem to be good bits of kit...

I wonder if they still have a reverse rotation front diff like they used to???

For the average person they are just an old 4x4 with no roof, no PAS, no turbo and no AC.

Though I imagine they may be popular for beach hire companies.

Possibly the 6x6 Gwags have an inverted centrally pivoted leaf spring and links rear bogie suspension, but that's different, and still IMO the best and simplest design for tandem drives.
I think the early GWag vehicles had a 2 shaft t/case with a reverse rotation front output shaft and the front diff was just a regular rear diff turned upside down to correct direction of wheel rotation.From the number of Rovers that get gWagon diff transplants in the UK, apparently this was changed some time ago to a conventional 3 shaft t/case and normal diff attitude.
