    I don't mind the concept, but looks very loooooooog between wheels, and very US.
    Though a private conversion, I would assume as the G wagon grows in popularity different variations will start to be produced by Mercedes. Just the price will always be a killer for me, unless it's 30 years old.

    That "ute" has been discussed in the G-wagen community (various forums) and is pretty much universally bagged by everyone. There are much more practical G-wagen dual-cab models (also known as doka's)

    Some the the Icelandic customs have much bigger tyres too (much like many Icelandic LR's too I imagine)
