Love the little SWB's. I didn't know they were imported to Australia.

The Aus army ones were pieces of crap............sure off road they were reasonably capable having twin locked diffs, nice low low range and good clearance. In my final years of choco's I never admitted to have a mog licence so that I didn't have to drive them.

    I must agree about recovery

After 21 Yrs. reg. army I did nearly 2 yrs. in the reserve all in transport, It was during this time I experienced the Mog and it ability. I experienced 2 trucks in what you would have to call very serious bogs simular to one of the pictures posted here only worse. One was recovered by RAEME the other by two 6X6 international that they replaced, even their own winch seemed to have limitations. I experienced trucks in Vietnam that were that badly bogged the only thing that stoped the going deeper in to the mud was that theirt trays were floating on the surface of the ground These were mainly 4X4 Internationals, a lot of these vehicles managed to self recover them self

There is another member of this forum that can support this statement he was there and experienced it too
