Watching this video it's clear that the grenadier probably isn't doing that bad.

I hope all those people that drunk the cool aid are doing ok. LR has reached out and burnt a giant group of customers. Way to go.

When are the die hard Land Rover fans going to get over the new Defender? Land Rover couldn't give away the old Defender at the end of it's production.

Has the new Defender had problems? Sure - but has the Grenadier had new problems? Plenty. I was speaking to a Grenadier owner recently and looking over his Grenadier because I am interested in one.

I opened the passenger door - water flooded out of the thing. I looked at him and he said: "Yeah - that's normal"

He had the sun roofs above the passenger and driver seats. I pointed to them and asked: "How do you like those?". He replied: "They leak - I've had them 'fixed' under warranty twice now, they still leak."

I then asked:"Overall though - you have to be happy?".. He replied:"It's also been in for warranty work on the electrics too."

I replied:"I'm still keen - maybe I will wait around a few years until the iron all the bugs out."

He replied: "That's if they are still around. The customer service is dreadfull - there is still no workshop manual that was promised. I have been really disappointed in the brand."

I read recently that Land Rover sold over 110,000 new Defenders in 2023 - in the last year of production I think that LR sold less than 20,000 of the old Defenders.

If you look around hard enough you will find people having issues with vehicles. Hilux anyone? Ranger anyone? Grenadier anyone?

I own multiple Land Rover products and love them all. I use them differently. Which one do I drive the most? My new Defender - which is 3.5 years old and I just clocked over 141,000 trouble free kms in it.

That must have been a long and hard decision.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
