Worth a watch before you consider buying one. Happy with the Grenadier but not the company!
Five Reasons I am unhappy with Ineos. Why was my Grenadier towed away? - YouTube
$1200 for a replacement key ( it’s a low tech non proximity key)
$1100 for one steel wheel
Manuals and tech info as promised well before the launch still not available so DIY mechs are in the dark.
3 weeks plus to get parts from Europe.
Cheers

I guess you can expect some logistical teething problems from what is essentially a startup, albeit a well funded one, but some of these, well, they need to be sorted PDQ if the Grenade is to be taken seriously.
The key! I wonder if Ineos have seen just how much people have to pay for the proximity type and thought " hey, if they can get away with it..". Back in 2009, before I bought my D2, I had a MK5 Golf that had a key pretty much identical to that one. Removing the blade and replacing it with a cut one is a trivial matter. I would have to wonder just what sort of "handshake" is required between the key and the car to justify that price. I suppose they are keeping the coding software as unavailable as the manuals seem to be.
I was truly hoping that Ineos might be a breath of fresh air in the ever more proprietary world of new cars. I guess not.

Huge job to produce a vehicle from scratch, yet alone have no issues.
He did mumble quite a few times that it would be benchmarked against Toyota.
Brave buyers as well, personally I wouldn’t go near one, just my two cents worth.
For the sort of money they are asking for them, for us,there are better options around,IMHO.
I got my first FB add for Ineos offering 3.5k of accessories for free on new orders before the end of May. I remain convinced that once they have delivered the orders for existing cars which were taken at far lower prices - they are really going to struggle to get new orders. That they are discounting suggests that their pipe is running dry.
Some quick checking and a 70 series gxl wagon is like 85 otr. The base grenadier is 110, and the trialmaster 123. If I was in the market I would go the Toyota without a doubt.
IMHO they need to be 20k cheaper to achieve even niche sales in Aus.
