28 ineos dealers have been announced.. not sure how many have made it to operation. LR currently have 42.. and decreasing.
I guess the point is they promised dealers through the outback, and "flying spanners", and good parts availability. It might not be much worse than LR, but it's not what they promised.

Hmm. I don't mind the restyle. Pure EV will make more sense in the UK and Europe than it will here, IMO. Currently in the US EVs are hard to sell, so it may not go there either, but who knows? Good to see the Gren selling well there.
Hydrogen fuel cell? Heck, even OKA are working on that tech. No infrastructure though. Yet.
*The added flexibility of extended range capabilities, courtesy of a supplementary gasoline engine that maintains battery charge levels.
So, not PHEV then, well not really. Interesting approach. Run the gennie to charge it up for the next day. People in campsites are going to love that. Prolly not the use Ineos envision it being put to, but you know people.

SubscriberInteresting development in California: Shell have pulled out of the H2 game and are closing all of their H2 refilling stations... citing cost and technology.
It's not surprising: what with a boiling point some 56 Celsius degrees below that of nitrogen, if you don't "use it you lose it"... so as soon as you fill the tank it begins to boil off ... and since there is no such thing as a perfect insulator, it boils off and the safety valves operate to keep the pressure within the safety margins... good luck with that!!then there's the problem of hydrogen embrittlement of the metals used to construct the storage tanks.... Good luck with that Twiggy!! ...

That intrusion into the left of the driver's footwell is unbelievable - this was a clean sheet design, right? So how did that massive fail happen? - and on its own means I'd never buy one of these.
Also surprisingly cramped in the driver's seat, much like an old Defender really, and far less rear seat legroom than my D4.
Between this and the new Defender I'd take the Defender.
