Will still be cheaper than an L663 and you can have it triple locked, winch, snorkel dual battery from the get go.

It's easy to tell that this is a Land Rover forum, as Toyota and Datsun owners seem to have "Duel" batteries, going by posts I've seen.

Indeed. But everything is combative with those blokes.

Brought back memories, Steve. First job I had when I came back to Melbourne in 1978 was at a Datsun dealer.

Speaking of being able to afford a Grenadier.

Local dealer is offering $6500 cash back on orders. Clearly getting new orders now they have filled the startup ones is proving tricky.

If they added a zero on the end of that i might in with a chance , i think its the only new vehicle i would throw money at.

A mate, who lives 'Up the Mountain' from me, has just got rid of his Defender 110 (one of the last, discontinued VINs in Australia) and is awaiting an Ineos.

I also await it, with bated breath, as this bloke does like to put his vehicles to work.

In 2019, he and a couple of Tojos did the Canning and his 110 was the only vehicle to come through without any issues.

I reckon three off those and I'd be prepared to revisit the situation.

Can someone please explain this CASHBACK crap & why not simply remove it from the original quoted purchase price?

    $6500!!!! FFS!

What is the psychology behind this if any? The Air Conditioning Industry has also been doing this for years but it makes no bloody sense that I could never see.

Strewth, 4bee! My aircon cost $5,000. I'd love a $6,500 cash back deal.
