But I agree. SuperDuty? Cat, meet pigeons.
They have said that the Ranger SD will be a more basic trim spec than the average ranger so no Wldtrack or Craptor, still better than an LC76/79 though.

I can't actually find a new M57 engine online, used seem to be 3 to 4 grand, and reconditioned 6 to 7 grand.

I'm starting to wonder if they fitted a new engine, be a tenth of the price to fit a reco or rebuild it.

You guys should jump over to the Grenadier forum, the thread on the Cape York disaster I’d hilarious, a heap of blinkers on fanatics supporting and making a heap of excuses for Ineos
I have watched all of the videos from the trip and the ones detailing the breakdown
The fact Ineos and nobody is stating what actually failed is disgraceful, if it was my vehicle I would be demanding to know the details of the failure and certainly not just accepting the “environmental “ excuse

Sounds very similar to Landrover Owners forum.

Apparently some posts of the engine failure video have been taken down.

Not sure why an insurer would cover an engine failure unless it was an accident rather than a mechanical failure.
    Cheers
