I remember my grandpa had 2 XJR'S? V12's when I was kid. V12, leather everywhere, 2 doors so it was a squeeze for 3 of us in the back, a bonnet that you couldn't see the end of. Even though they were fairly old and ratty, I thought they were the coolest cars I'd ever seen. I have no idea what happened to them, i remember them getting sold but i dont know to who. He never done anything with them, im pretty sure he sold them to someone who wanted to restore them. He even had the plates to match XJRV12 wicked!
Ive got a badge laying around an old steering wheel from them still.
I'll ask my old lady if shes got some photos of them.

Now I just need a set of leather driving gloves, flat cap and a tweed jacket with elbow patches... 😆

"Stringbacks" are what you need,..woven "string" uppers & leather bottom (wheel contact)!!.."olde worlde",...like me!
