    Grenadier build choices have arrived

The build specs for Grenadier landed in my email a few moments ago. There are links to the three sections but they do not work at the moment, site must be busy!!!
The time has come. We’ve now revealed the complete product specifications and pricing for our rugged 4X4. So you can think about exactly how you will spec yours before you lock in your order. Engine, wheels and tyres, colours, interior trims, options, accessories – it’s all here.

Orders open on May 18th, so now’s the time to soak up everything the Grenadier has to offer before you commit to the spec you need to get the job done.
    and
    HOW TO BUY

Ready to order on May 18th? We’ve made it really easy to buy your new Grenadier. A fully refundable EUR 2500 deposit reserves your build slot. If you’ve already paid a reservation fee this will be deducted from the deposit. You can also see finance product information and find your local retail partner.
    and
    SERVICING YOUR GRENADIER

We recommend getting your Grenadier serviced every 12 months and will launch with around 185 service sites. Our network of quality partners really ‘get’ off-road vehicles and are trained and supported by our own technical teams and INEOS Automotive HQ. This network will grow as we aim for you to be within 45 minutes/50 km of an accredited IAL workshop. So, servicing and repairs are never far away.

So what would be the actual on road cost of the plain $84,500 wagon?

Also I would have expected to see a price higher than this, given equipment costs in things from Europe in my industry have gone up 15% in the last few months!!
    Cheers

With emissions of 300g Co2, road tax here will be €2400 or 3,550 AUD per year.

Our govt unfortunately doesn’t care about emissions at all. We still have Euro 5 as our requirement which you blokes introduced 11 years ago!

Ouch! What is a normal or average yearly road tax?

Here for me it would be around $710 AU per year here where I live in Victoria - €480.

As mentioned, no one seems to care about vehicle emissions too much over here although we account for less than 2% of vehicles globally.

    Payload - not as promised.

Ineos were hoping for a 1 Ton payload.

The 5 seater Diesel payload is only 810Kg. Thats only 130Kg more than a Disco 2.

Oh well, I still like the overall vehicle as vehicle to keep for ages and DIY service!

Couldn’t find those specs but I’m only on my phone. What is the payload for the utility wagon without rear seats - or what do the seats weigh when everyone rips them out and sticks them in the back shed until they sell it. Grenadier build choices have arrived

2 seat Utility payload is 826Kg for the Diesel. (906 Kg Petrol)

And that's with 'liquids but no driver'.

So that's about 746 Kg with a driver. Bit low I recon for a utility vehicle. Towing capacity is 3500 Kg but the GTM is not quoted yet.

    A lot lower than that!
The Puma is €1034 (AUD 1,524) annually. It should be the higher €2400 but Land Rover got the Pumas recertified in Europe as a "commercial" vehicle. So it has it's road tax calculated on engine cubic capacity and thus comes in at €1034 per year.
