Bye Sea King and now, what?

Are the engine problems on the MRH-90s being resolved or we finished with a white elephant?
Just wonder if the Blackhawk was not a better option..........

as happens in the aust military purchasing department, we stuff up everything we buy to make it better suit our unique conditions,

    let's wait and see,
besides, the military can't spend money on off the shelf hardware, someone else might be able to use it too.

oh, and we can't afford to spend too much on the countries military infrastructure, we need the money to pay juliearse friggin pay rise.

Ahhhh the "Sea king" - I remember watching them lift off and drift off into the blue ... then we'd start a "book" on where it would break down/crash ... and who would get the nice little job of taking the crew there to sort it all out ... I had a few interesting trips courtesy of the Seakings reliablility (or lack of it) ... ahhhh the good old days -
