Yep, I'm there every day from sparrows fart to stumps.

They let a Raptor off its chain this afternoon for a wander around.... I'll try to get a vid next time - I was away from the office when it took off and didn't have my camera near me, but DAMN!!!! Those things are off the hook. I've never seen anything with that sort of power. Easily pulled up into a vertical climb, and it almost has a better turning circle in the air than a truck does on the ground. No idea what sort of G's the pilot did doing some of those turns.

The C-17 is awesome to watch as well. The Pilot seems to think when there is no cargo on board that he is in a stunt plane... The display starts with a VERY steep climb from takeoff, then some turns that just shouldn't be possible in a aircraft that size.

Plus plenty of other cool stuff. The Breitling wing walkers are pretty damn hot too...

If anyone ends up there, let me know what day and PM me your phone number and I'll catch up for a chat.

Will have plenty of pics and vids at the end of it all for those not lucky enough to get there.

It is the best event of the year...

I was thinking of taking my son on Saturday for a look. I haven't even checked out ticket prices yet. If I go I'll give you a call there Gav.
    Cheers, David.

Just been out sticking the light towers on around the place - a lot of people heading out, and quite a few more coming in for the evening. The thing that amazed ne was how many people had lost their car... Not stolen - just can't find them.

Spent an hour running people around finding them. Every person I helped had under estemated how far out they had parked. It's only because I was in and out the carpark a few times this morning that I knew roughly where cars were going at what time and this helped narrow it down.

If someone had a stand near the main gate with "Cars found - $20" and a golf cart, they could make some dollars. If you spent the day in the carpark keeping an eye on the traffic coming in, you could find 10 or 12 cars an hour without issue. 5 hours of people trying to find their cars - I bet you could come close to pocketing $1,000.

I had to leave as I still have things to do, but there are a LOT of people milling around out there now still looking.

Really sad - some of them were in tears. Not a great way to finish the day...

    Friday was a great day!

this year you seem to be able to get up close and touch a few more than the previous years.

    Inside a 1961 B52 front wheel bay:

Looking out from under a B52 wing:

The F22 Raptors, OMG ! Just as good if not better than the sukhoi displays of the 90's!

I had a great day, took thousands of photo's, and met up with Gavin (Babicat) for a chat and he was a real nice guy with a great job

    Guess what.
    Yep, I lost the Commodore.
    Easy to do.

Was down there today. I'll be better prepared in 2015. I'll take a couple of balls of twine. Tie one end to the door handle.

It's an excellent event. I loved wandering around the light aircraft that were on display.
The tents the RAAF had set up were amazing. A tent with airconditioning. Got to get one of them for the next camp in Wombat.

You should have sung out, I would have helped you find it - got a perfect trike rate there the other night. If you know what time you got there, I could work out roughly where you ended up.

Sounds like you found it eventually.

I have photos and videos, but my Internet connection has sucked for the last few days. Once I've got Telstra to sort it, I'll uplad them.
