I read in "The Newcastle Herald" yesterday, there would be another airshow of vintage aircraft today,at Rutherford Airport which is near Maitland. I had to work today and it was too late to change shifts!!

Here's a clip from the "Newcastle Herald" about yesterdays airshow at Rutherford
I would have loved to have taken piccies of the WW2 era Grunman Avenger torpedo bomber.

Really enjoyed the Mustang doco, thanks Ian. What a tragic lack of vision from Australian aviation bureaucracy, yet another example of heritage lost.
