The ABC understands there were no plans to extend the search at this stage despite the CSIRO's latest findings.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    Air Malaysia missing.

I love the bit about the autopilot having the capability to be ‘taken over’. Irrelevant really, because the minute it gives you a ‘what’s it doing now’ moment, any pilot worth his/her salt would resolve the MCP modes, and if it wasn’t doing what was desired, reduce the level of automation or just disconnect it and hand-fly.

So that makes it a totally useless and bypass-able ‘feature’.

This piece reminds me of the quality of sludge self-proclained aviation expert Geoffrey Thomas serves up.....

there's your answer. unsalted pilots are out there.
remember that airfrance 447 flight. 3 pilots from FL360 were unable to recognize a stall and correct it.
a recreational pilot/private pilot should of been able to do a better job.

i dont believe into the autopilot hijacking explanation btw. only why it would be possible is if the attacking also disabled the aircon and put everyone to sleep. and thats less likely imho

but no one has been able to explain why it took this strange path

That is a standard line used by conspiracy theorists all over the world about all sorts of things.

Of course it is usually code for, "I don't understand it, so I claim no-one can explain it."

Sometimes it is code for, "I don't understand that there are such things as coincidences and random events."
