When the A380's were grounded, I managed to come home from Europe on an Airbus 330 delivery flight which was a great experience, Toulouse to Singapore (picked up some freight) and onto Sydney. With a few work mates from the flight planning team, tech crew, 2 engineers and 1 cabin crew it was a restful flight. A330 is quite an impressive aircraft, this one is configured to do the West-East coast flights so doesn't have the business class lie flat sleepers so we used the central seats and put the arm rests up.

Now you've got me going through my old photos !

Hope I can add items of interest

Now you can see this but you cannot hear it - yet ...

The bloke on the left looking at me with the binos is about to get some noise

and a bit of flame or smoke can be exciting if it's not too dangerous

A well organised hangar of the late 70s

Complete with a few kits that have since been built up

the hangar contents pretty well identify it

I have a fondness for the Caribou, I just can't really explain. It has a presence about it and a sound that is unmistakeable.
