Hello All,

I had a quick look on eBay as my first port of call regarding RC Helicopters.

I am specifically looking at the helicopter arrangement not a quad blade drone.

Can more experienced people recommend a brand and make that is of fairly good quality and has similar controls to the more high end of the market without my having to sell a kidney?

Are the helicopters around $200 a good starting point? If not what is the base price for a reasonable quality RC helicopter? Is there a point in price where the controls are different between a "toy" and a more advanced set of controls? If so what sort of price do these more advanced controls come into the selection?

The reason I ask about the controls is so that I can avoid having to learn a whole new series of controllers if I want to step up to more advanced level of equipment.
