no reason why the old Biscuit Bomber will not be the flying into 100 years of service, bloody remarkable.

Yes, I'm familiar with that modification, and I thought it was remarkable that yet another generation of commercial pilots is going to have to learn to fly tail-draggers!!:D
I saw it at Oshkosh, and asked the agent why they did it (the mod.). He replied that they couldn't get another machine with the same payload, and ability to operate out of rugged minimally prepared strips. There was one in Oz a few years back operating for geological survey work.
