The S2b was the first aircraft I worked on after leaving trade training, joined 12 Sqn at RAF Lossiemounth back in 1988. At the time the Bucc was the only Nuclear capable air frame we had, great aircraft! When we carried out an AF or turnaround we had to check the hyd filters and oil, these were located just behind the front wheel, to get at them you had to undo a panel, the trick was to leave one dutz fastener in and stand back when undid it as you use to get soaked with sea water as they flew that low!
