    Hunter Valley Airshow 2017

Well, the event has come n gone for me, what a day, I managed to get 5 of Solihull's finest there with the help of 4 mates Minikeg aka Scott Carswell is the only forum user that anyone might know, the day started of with a temp of 20c it was foggy n cool when we arrived @ 0820hrs to be met at the gate by Jan with our tickets, and we were given directions as to where to park

within 30 minutes of arrival the first of the days attractions fired up, but I couldn't leave to look at it as I had 2 lovely young women asking all manner of questions about my vehicles, but I heard it, and thought to myself "gee that's GOT BALLS" the engine sound of the FU Corsair is something to hear, it's up there with some of the best sounds I've ever heard, it took off into the fog and disappeared, I was hanging out for it to return, but that didn't eventuate as it crash landed at the far end of the runway

shock horror, I wouldn't get to hear it fly past low n fast I wanted to experience what the Jap's did during the war as they named it 'whistling death' the pilot wasn't the owner, they were in Newcastle shopping, eeekk, anyway the same pilot was in the Mustang later in the day.
Another aircraft TBM Avenger was another that I wanted to see n hear as I saw it 9 years ago fly low n slow up Newcastle harbour, I wasn't disappointed

I did manage to get some video clips of it and others, the sound of the 14cyl radial is music, I'm not sure what the next aircraft is but it was also an awesome machine

a CAC Wirraway was there, it is obscured by the bowsers though

I thought at first this might have been a 'bird dog' but I don't know, it didn't have any info near it that I could see

The RAAF got in on the act as well, this great machine flew down from RAAF Amberly Qld, to do many a loop fly past

they also a jet trainer there which was doing some very fast flypast n low, the Roulettes came over late in the afternoon, no images of them sorry.
Here is that un-identified aircraft seen earlier, it was cutting the grass so to speak

Then there was the flypast with 4 WW2 aircraft, it would have been 5 but for the unfortunate incident earlier in the day, they looked great, the combined sounds were unreal

the Mustang did quite a few low passes over the airstrip, it was tremendous to see n hear

I have some good clips of them all, but this one the Hawker Hurricane was the best, with flames coming from the exhaust ports on startup

well I must say it was a great day despite the heat, there were a few other well known identities from other forums, but I must say that I'm buggered, I did manage to make some small children's day sitting in and trying on gear etc, only had to raise my voice once to a group of unruly kids jumping onto the gunbuggy, I'm sure they will not do anything like it again LOL anyway cheers Dennis
here are a few clips I managed, not very good ones but

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Not sure, but I think your mystery aircraft is a two seat version of this.

T28 it is. You have to click on YOUTUBE to watch it.

The Hmong flew the T28 during the secret war in LAOS. Trained by the CIA, they suffered many casualties. Some of the young men came straight from the paddy fields, and had to be taught english, before they could start flight training.
