    The ER 3E ARIES11 recon. aircraft

    Recently it was reported a Russian fighter came to within 1.5 metres of an ARIES recon aircraft. I've never heard of one of those. Anyway, here it is.

    How close? As a civil pilot, it depends whether or not you’re formation flying rated. Closest I’ve been is about 10 feet (but that’s in a formation, not surveilling someone without consent). That was close enough
