A new concept for future commuting

I must admit that it is a weird design.

Let me guess, there's a crowdfunding campain for it on indigogo? 😆

Yes, interesting desgin but no answers to dozens of questions I have without even mentioning things like Pilots licences and CASA... 😉

Flight time? Max capacity? Max wind conditions? Take off and landing distances?

Do I think that flying cars will exist in my lifetime? No, but you have to start somewhere. I do like the design though, half octo copter, half plane - flight controls probably based around drone tech - I like the out if the box thinking. 👍

Actually found some data on their website - range is 25 miles, max payload is 250 pounds, so counts me out - as well as half the US population... 😆😇

Almost full VTOL -wasn't sure of that was the case looking at the videos. 3 feet required - could land in my backyard. 😊

Temp range 0-30 which seems limiting, no fly in rain, 100KPH so 20 minutes flight time which sounds about right.

Quite like it, but can't see it ever being legal in Aus with our nanny state rules unfortunately...

Would love that for getting around on a farm. Who needs a quad bike!
Life is just a series of obstacles preventing you from taking a nap.

It would be great for spotting pigs in cleared country

And if you were up North, being capable of water landings, the Wet Season wouldn't be so much of an issue!
