    Boeings new 777X jetliner unveiled

The catch is, this one will never fly.

The experience will probably be spoiled by airlines stuffing in as many seats as possible to maximise revenue.

I clearly recall my first and only flight on a 787. Lan Chile flight from Santiago to Lima ( then to Florida) . Seats were so crammed in that my reading light was far behind us and basically useless. LCD windows made no difference to old system.
Increased cabin pressure seemed good though.

I hope the buyers get it right because they are the ones who determine the seating.

I have always enjoyed the 777 as an international hauler and found it quieter, smoother and more comfortable than all the other "biggies".

I have just about had enough of it all , you need to put as much time consideration and costs into your preflight planning as you do into the flights itself.

We have just done a return 14hr flight on the newest Dreamliner,in business class.
All i can say is it was amazing.

The one thing i can complain about is WI Fi was not free,it cost $12.00,which is ridiculous.

    Scarry,
Just delete your browser cookies before logging back in *cough, cough*. I did that on my last USA trip and had free wifi transcontinental.....

One reason you feel better on the B787 is that the air quality is significantly better due to the cabin air not passing through the engines and being contaminated (bleed air).

Sounds a lot better than in the nets in the back of a C130.

We did the return trip PER - LHR on the Qantas 778 in economy. By far the best long haul flight I have done including Business SYD-SFO(747 and 777), SYD-DFW(747), LAX-SYD (A380) and SYD- SCL(747)
The cabin noise and air quality is much better even than the A380 and as much as I like the top deck of a 747 it is starting to be pretty archaic in comparison.

I think the cabin altitude in the cruise is also quite lower than the typical 8-8500 feet.
