Well, it did seem to for a while, but last report I saw it was on the bottom of the lagoon & Salvage were trying to raise it. Get a canoe under each wing tip & one under the APU & float it to shore. Should be a doddle. Yeah right!

Just make sure the undercarriage is retracted though or drag will be enormous.[wink11]

But as John said, it will take time & many, many tonnes of fresh water to give her a good flush out before it is too late.[smilebigeye]

Actually, I saw reports of both! Depends which news source you read.

Various press releases have it landing short / long or even departing Chuuk !

I guess it's too far from POM for them to know, looks like the weather was minimums.
