A 64 Yr old Frenchman accidently ejected himself from a Rafale jet fighter.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Seems the passenger was lead to believe it was a more sedate flight and when the pilot decided to open it up and climb passenger was not expecting it

Another report said that the plane was designed so that when that seat ejected the pilot should have gone out as well automatically however this in this case had not worked leaving pilot in plane at speed with no canopy

    1. Why wasn't he strapped in?
    2. Why wasn't his helmet correctly fitted?

That's usually the responsibility of the Armament Fitter(?) - the bloke that removes the safeties from the ejector seat and ensures the occupant is securely strapped into the seat with safety equipment correctly fitted.
