Thomas Walker's Rivendell, also known as the Thomas Walker Convalescent Home. It was built from 100,000 pounds from his estate, with most of the other 50,000 pounds needed donated by his daughter Eadith and her foster sister. The family lived in the Dame Eadith Walker home 'Yaralla'.
Now its used as a DOCS training establishment for delinquents (they call it the Adolescent Unit) I think.
Rivendell was originally only accessible by water, hence the wharf house. The timber wharf was demolished in the 60's.

I did that years ago in a TV chopper and still remember it as if it was yesterday, but not in a Blackhawk with the doors off - Lucky Lucky Bugger!
