    where can i get a new remote for 2001 TD4 in newcastle. mine has stopped working

    Try ALL FOURx4 at Kotara first up, also there is a new LandRover Dealer at Bennets Green, not far from Charlestown Toyota!!! Oh, make sure its just not a battery that needs replacing, also try reprogramming it as per page 18 in the "Owners Handbook"....cheers!!!

    As Ausfree said. They are big $$$$ at the dealers and new ones will require programming at a dealer or someone who has the right computer so the costs of this need to be taken into account.

    You can buy them on Ebay UK very cheap but you need to get the right frequency - 315mHz I think but not 100% sure. The correct part number is on the back of your fob.

    A new remote (YWX101200) from a dealer is around the $135 mark.

    You cannot get better information than that. When I was after one - my stealer wanted $200 plus $120 to code it to the car
