The Freelander uses standard globes available at any auto store including Autopro. Just unscrew from under the rear guard and replace.
Cannot help with LEDs.

I have recently purchased a 2001 3door freelander, a few days after I noticed my passengers side brake light has blown.
I have looked around on here and cannot find exactly what I want to know so am posting this.
I was told by the guy at autopro that I will have to get a replacement bulb from landrover, but was reading on here I can get an LED bulb instead?.. Problem is I have NO IDEA what I need so am after some help please!
Can someone point me in the right direction, whether it be an ebay link or a link to a store online somewhere.
Thankyou!
Mel

I haven't even removed it as I didn't think there was any point till I had the new one, just goes to show people who work there don't always know what they are talking about!
