    FL1 with no HDC?

    Hi folks
Can anyone please tell me if any Aus delivered FL1s were optioned without HDC/TC/ABS?

I had thought they all came with this, but maybe I'm mistaken...

    TIA
    Cheers

I thought the base models (Di and i) did not have these as standard but could be optioned. The XeDi and Xei models had the lot as standard.

    Thanks Garry
Aaah, perhaps that explains it... it's a '98 softback 1.8 but there's nothing to identify a trim level.

The odd thing is, it has fuses in both ABS slots in the fuse box that I would have thought would have been blank/empty? However I can't see an ABS block in the engine bay.

Is it possible to retro-fit HDC etc?

    I assume I will need:
    ABS block
    ABS lines
    Gear shifter with trigger grip
    ECU from an Xei ???

This is also assuming that, like a D2 the wiring harness is there for a sunroof (for example) and just not connected...

    Cheers

Given the low prices of an 1.8 - just buy a car with the stuff fitted.

Cos I only just bought this one - and I rather like it
And It's got a brand new motor that's probably worth more than a complete car to buy!
