    FL1 back end help

I got my car back from the mechanic (2nd one) this morning after having him replace all the rear diff mounts but am still having problems.. He thinks it might be the CV joint but there is no movement in it and it isn't clicking when I'm turning so I'm not so sure..

Here is what it is doing:

Shudders when you go over about 90km/h, doesn't get any worse, stops when you take foot off the gas.. could be just the wheel alignment but it did get a lot worse after the first mechanic looked at it.

Can do 2-3 full lock circles in both directions and no noise but when you get to about 3rd gear going straight again it click.

A lot of the time clicks when I pull into the driveway, when I drive over the footpath and down onto the lawn, there is a bit of a drop 8cm or so..

80% of the time clicks when you put it into park after a drive.

It was clicking when I was going full lock or turning some sharp corners/parking in town before I had the diff mounts replaced but doesn't seem to be doing that now, tho I have only had the car back a few hrs so will keep you posted!

I rung the first mechanic again and asked him what he thinks and he said to get the K frame checked and something about a centre cv joint?

I thought I would just put this on here and see what people think as I have no idea and I don't want to have to replace everything on the car before the problem is found!

i seem to be having the same kinda problem with my freelander aswell, when accelerating it vibrates/shudders a bit then after going past about 40k's its all good until i reach about 90-110 on the highway, at that point its pretty bad and it feels like my freelander has transformed into a massage chair literally!.

i thought it would have been a wheel alignment/rotation problem but have yet to get it checked out.

have you figured out what the problem was with yours?

Do the tyres on the front have more tread than the rear?
