    TD4 T-Belt Replacement

Can anyone advise as to when the recommended interval for T-Belt replacements is carried out on the TD 4 motor in the FL1. I know the L Series diesel is recommended at 80,000 k's. The approx. cost for this to be carried out by a mechanic would help too!!!!

Also, by 2004 did LandRover solve the problem of water leaking in the tail gate window and filling up the tool box?????

    Thanks guys!!!

There is no T belt on a TD4. It has a Timing chain. Only need to replace it when noisy. It would be expensive to change and you need service tools to do it. So this would limit workshops to do it.

There is a updated seal for the earlier FL1. But never saw many suffering from this problem after seal was fitted. Most of the time it was window adjustment.
