    V6 Thermostat

I found these on the internet.
KV6 thermostat - XPowerForums - For MG, XPower & Motorsport Enthusiasts

Alloy thermostat and pipe work for a KV6. These are for a MG/Rover and are slightly different to a Freelander. The Freelander radiator hoses clip to the thermostat, where a MG/Rover hoses push over and tightened with a hose clamp. There would be no reason you couldn't remove the plastic clip section from the hosing from a Freelander and fit these housings. They would be a great improvement as the thermostat on the KV6 is plastic and is very common to leak.
You will need to PM Kaiser on this site

For price and availability, maybe also ask if he does a Freelander kit as well. Then it would be a straight swap

Handy information to keep in the memory banks. The thermo in my V6 was replaced about 2 years ago so I guess I don't have any immediate worries. I understand that with the V6 leaks occur in the thermostat and the water pump. I find it hard to imagine that Rover would come up with a plastic thermo!!!
