Thread: Freelander MY2001 TD4 Auto Wagon

Gooday to all.
I have a 2001 TD4 Auto Wagon and am not sure which forum to enter.
Is it a Series 1 or 2?

You have a Freelander 1 - there are three basic cosmetic variations of the Freelander 1 (1998 - 2000) has the 1.8 petrol or L series diesel. The Freelander 1 (2000 - to about late 2003) has minor external cosmetic differences - has the V6 petrol and TD4 diesel - auto was introduced.
The last version of the Freelander 1 has more cosmetic changes mainly to the lights (similar to late D2) and was only TD4 and auto.

The Freelander 2 (2007 on) is a completely different car - different body and engines etc.

There are 3 facelifted versions of the FL1 but I believe at this stage the FL2 has not had a facelift.
