Hi
A friend has a 2002 V6 Freelander and the intake hose that goes from filter cover to throttle body has a split in it. According to local LR Dealer you have to buy the complete intake PHB000180 which is very pricey!

Link to picture showing pipe needed as NSS "non sold seperatly"?
Has anyone found an alternative?
thanks

OR
Try this:-

If they won't ship it to your destination, PM me.

Dennis, NAS spec Freelanders are different to AUS spec. If the picture is anything to go by it wont fit a AUS spec V6 Freelander.
I did a training course on Freelanders and was told NAS spec, has drive by wire throttle body where AUS still have a throttle cable.
Can you confirm this. Thanks Luke.
Luke
Good day to you and the forum this Easter tide mate.
Yes I can confirm its "drive by wire" on NAS Flandies--(New one on me for the AUS variant.)
First though, if you take some vital measurements I might be able to compare the NAS to the AUS and see what is exactly different.
I have a few used ones in the shop from take outs and Flandies that have died with no money to resuscitate in this US economy!
Doesn't hurt to compare--she said!
Cheers Dennis
