tried to mount a tow hitch on 2002 Freelander 1 V6 5 door
The Curt hitch is 38-3/16" wide between mounting plates, the Draw Tite hitch is 38-5/8" between plates, yet when I measure my frame it is 39-3/16" between frame rails ( with the factory tow hook removed).

Could someone please measure their frame to confirm the distance between frame rails where the 3 mounting holes on each side are located on the rear frame
