					Gday all,

Ive recently had some issues with the ignition on a 1.8l petrol, relatingot worn out ignition components.

The heat seems to flog out the leads and things very quickly. With new leads, and new dizzy rotor i thought i was sweet for ages. 2 weeks later BANG. no love. After some inspection, the rotor EXPLODED. It was in about 30 pieces, and took out some of the cap and backing plate with it.

Its fixed now, but i was kind of amazed that a simple part that doesnt touch anything could cause such a disaster!

 Cheers!
