    Newbie Just after some help.

Looking to get into off roading, just got a freelander mark 1 2004 model. I want to change for either some mud or all terrain tyres, standard 15 inch steel wheels on the FL what are the biggest tyres that i can get on without having to lift and with no rubbing. Also I waant to fit Front headlamp guards on, I've been made away theres some modifications to make but just wondered if someone could either scan a installation document or give me an idea of what needs to be done to fit them.

    Thanks to all in advance.

I do not know about 15" wheels but in 16" 225/70 are about the biggest you can go without modifications. http://www.aulro.com/afvb/freelander...re-dilemma.htm

You can buy the plastic headlight covers from the dealers or accessory shops.

I have 15" rims on my 05 Td4, and the tyres are LT235/75. Any bigger and they would rub.
