Thread: FL2 Diesel auto recall Q106

Sorry Max, I missed your post. The noise is pretty constant and not very loud but there none the less. It could possibly be mistaken for tyre noise in the early stages. It sort of crept up on me to the point I said, thats not tyres. The car is actually at Trivetts at the moment and its being rebuilt under warranty. I will be taking the extended warranty option soon as I still like the car despite the issue. I have almost 90K on the clock now.

In fairness to Landy, I had the steptronic auto gearbox **** itself at 103,000Km. I had religiously had the servicing done. Through my dealers intercession, Landy came to the party and decreed "such a failure should not happen". They got a reco Jatco box and paid the dealer $2500 to do the exchange. The exchange reco Jatco was about the same price. I guess this was cheaper than a replacement new pumper. I dont know what other cars use this auto but there must be a few users co the exchange was a local co.
