    Brake Controller and FL2 Fitting

A mate has just bought a diesel FL2. Has fiited up the brake controller in the traditional manner. Power from battery and sensor feed from around the brake light switch.

Works manually ie slide on controller but not when activating brake pedal. (Tells me brake lights still working)

Is FL2 same as D3 ie a bit tricky and or are there any special rules for FL2 when fitting the controller

    AHilliar,
Little bit tricky like the d3, there are again 2 park light cicuits that can cause some problems & again the coonections must be made at the rear of the vehicle.
The Black +ve & White -ve wires go directly to the battery via the nice rectangle grommet in the firewall.
The Blue wire needs to be connected to the 2nd park light circuit which is cut away from the splice connection just before the wiring goes out the grommet in the rear l/h loadspace area. The Red wire connects to the red wire in the loom for the trailer brakes.
    HTH in some way
