Read a mini review of the new FL2 in todays local rag.

It seems it has a 2.2l TD4 engine from Peugot (110kW/420Nm),
You FL people would be able to tell me whether this is the same as the old model or not.

Anyway the thing that caught my attention was
"a smart charging battery that only draws power when the engine is decelerating"

This supposedly saves fuel, but surely this will mean a lot of flat batteries... ?


At least the stupid stop/start system is not fitted to the autos (manual drivers have it, bad luck).

The engineis apprently set up to happily run on biodiesel too.
