Your green light works with the Hayman Reece setup? Can you have a look on your paper work and see if you have a part number for the ECU? (just want to check against mine to see if it is the same) My green light doesn't come on

Hmm - don't think I have a part number. Chat with the installer (Rallyspeed, Artarmon, NSW - great service) about the set-up and whether it would bring up the trailer warning light confirms it was the "usual" ECU ... or so he thought. He didn't think it would bring up the trailer light, but it does.

Since I'm a newbie, I don't when the proper time to see the trailer light is!! It shows green on start-up with a trailer connected, then goes out. It shows again each time I use an indicator. Can't say I noticed with the brakes. I didn't have to reverse, and (silly me) forgot to put it deliberately into reverse to check whether the parking sensor went off .. think I popped it through R though, jsut while stationary, and no beep.

Trailer was a light box 7 x 4 with a very light dinghy on top - no real weight - I didn't really feel it and nor did I need to use sport mode on the auto. So no idea whther the trailer settings cam into play.

I haven't yet hitched up my sealed Trek trailer - it's about 500kg laden. nor have I towed any distance - these trips were only 15-20 mins each.

Mine was delivered to order so not old stock - maybe Hayman Reese can tell you whether the ECO has changed recently.
