    Transmission oil change

Lots of info on the D3/4 forum about changing the "sealed for life" transmission oil due to aus conditions being considered arduous.
Anyone changed their freelander 2 trans oil yet ? Ours is about 70,000 & 5.5yrs old. We are now towing 1.5t van regularly

    Any thoughts / debate?

no such thing as sealed for life if you want to keep the car past 120k's.

get the trans serviced, don't wait, don't debate.

Ask us with L322 range rovers, and a few of the other cars with "sealed for life" autoboxes.

A myth - even LR far too long service intervals are not "sealed for life". If anyone has an official LR document that indicates these are sealed for life please put it up.

Yes the interval is far too great but is Not sealed for life.
