Thread: Turbo actuator

I had a engine performance reduced come up on the dash and after reading faults on my Hawkeye, 3 faults.
1:Turbo actuator stuck open.
2: turbo actuator has not reached set point.
3: Turbo actuator timeout.

I have removed actuator and stripped, blew out electric motor and got it operational again.

I have ordered a motor and awaiting arrival. I will post photos of when i change it out

Has anyone else had this issue

Fitted new 12v motor today.
Photo 1. Remove these clips, 6 in total, and actuator will split in half
Photo 2. Remove this clip. I found the easiest was to use a knife down the side and pull clip up.
Photo 3. Drill out this plug
Photo 4. Undo screw and motor will come out
Photo 5. Had to swap this gear over as the one supplied was a larger diameter.

I have spare motors, clip for motor and plugs if anyone is interested in them, just PM me.
