			Fuel gauge

Last night with a full tank of diesel my guage & trip computer could only find just under half a tank. Has anyone else had a sticky gauge in their FL2? Strangely enough exactly a year ago it did the exact same thing. Do they still use floats? Wondering what the cause could be. Any help would be great.

Don't know but if it was mine I'd be checking all the likely looking electrical plugs for a bad connexion.

Very common issue. Check the wiring/connections under the rear seat first, otherwise it could be one of the sender units (there's 2).

Exactly the same thing happened to my 2011 Sd4 last month. My LR mechanics were heading down a potentially expensive path of replacing sender units/pumps etc until I realised the vehicle had one month warranty cover left (thought it had expired). I rang Landrover service centre and they did a simple software upgrade and the problem is fixed.

Apparently it is a known problem.

I had this happen once after a bit of 4wding but after a few more bumps and stopping for a bit it fixed itself. Is that still the update your talking about or would that be a sticking sensor. Has bot happend again yet lol
