I've only had the car a month and I am yet to disconnect the battery.
The rear windows don't one-touch-up. I don't know how to reset that.
I do have the rear windows child lock on, so my kids can't play with them. So that may also be why.

I think I read somewhere that if the battery is disconnected you need to reset each window by closing it then holding up again for a second then down then after its down release them hold down again for a sec.
That could be a total crock.... I don't know for sure... haven't tried it yet.
Hmm.... I can get the global windows down working by holding the key for what seems like an eon.
But nothing will get the lock to close them. I tried the suggested reset by holding it up after its closed... It makes no sound at all and doesn't seem to change anything. Rats. :)
Hi,
I wound them both down and held them down from the switches on the drivers door for 5secs. I heard a definite click. Then I wound them up all the way, held the switch up for about 5 secs, again I heard a click. Just to be certain I let the switches go for a second and then held them up again for another 5 secs. Again I thought I heard a click.
Keep in mind my car is six years older and UK spec so it may differ I suppose.
Cheers,
The Global Close feature was disabled in Australia a couple of years ago but I'm not sure exactly when.
For example, my D4 is an MY14 and it is disabled for me.
So it could be either that yours is too new or that Brett's is UK spec anyway (assuming you have enabled the one-touch feature on all windows as per Brett's post).
The Global Close and other features can be enabled with a suitable diagnostic tool, which is also useful for troubleshooting faults.
Note that the dealer diagnostic equipment typically cannot do this sort of thing. They are locked out by JLR.
For a really good idea of what can be done with a FL2, have a read of these threads by Cambo ..... very enlightening:
