    Wots this for?

    Hi folks,

Dumb question time.... There is a spot at the left of the spare wheel with a Velcro strap attached to the wheel well wall ( try saying that fast when your drunk...). Does anyone know what is supposed to there?

Also what is the yellow plastic tool that was in under there and what is it for?

Do not lose the yellow plastic tool.

If you put the wrong size (type of) fuel nozzle in the fuel tank opening a guard pops up to stop you filling up with the wrong stuff.

You need that tool to re-set the guard in your filler tank throat.

The velcro usually held a roll of banknotes in case your other Landy was a Disco.

Hehe... my other Landy WAS a Disco that's why the velcro bankroll holder is empty in the photo.....

Thanks for that.... I never would have guessed it..

In my Freelander the velcro holds an EU standard fold-up warning triangle in a thin red plastic box.

Perhaps for Aus spec cars they left the velcro in place but deleted the warning triangle to save $3.00.

    Cheers,
