FL2 TD4 Economy
If anyone is interested I averaged 10.09L/100km for my TD4 FL2 over 9600km. This is primarily city driving with the odd highway trip. This is inline with the official LR figures of 11L/100km around town.

Thanks for the post!
My 1.8L petrol 4 gets about 12L/100kms, thats the honest figure.
I get between 450kms and 500kms from a refil on a 59L tank.
Cheers!

MY04 TD4
Good morning guys,
Have only owned my Freelander for 2 weeks.
Not quiet used half a tank and it's done 398 klm.
All city stuff. To and from work. I even took the wife out for lunch.
I suppose the next half will be short lived if it's a 59 lt tank that has a smaller bottom half.
I'm impressed so far.
Regards
Bruce

I get an average of around 9l\100km usually probably because my drive to work is done at 8-km\hr and not too much crawling in traffic.

When I first bought it I was seeing 10.5 - 11.0 around town but I think now it's a bit older the economy is settling down. The next six months should see better economy for my mainly city driving.
I just completed a 3300km road trip to Townsville and back from Brisbane. I'm yet to work out the economy but will post when I do.

3358km from Brisbane to Townsville return. Car would have been close to maximum payload of 500kg. Approx 2500km on highway rest in town driving. Air con used most of the time.
3358km used 275.29 Litres
or 8.14L/100km

So do you guys have a heavy foot? I no i do, so i assume my fuel econ is going to be higher.
Currently my XR6T is at 14L/100km. However i do ride her hard. The wife gets it down to 11L.
So in my mind i reckon the FL2 will be 11L for me and about 9 for her.
