    Freelander 2 roof racks

I need some roofracks for my new FL2. Have looked at some Rola racks which can be fitted. Does anyone have any pics of roof rack options for the FL2 they can share?

    FL2 roofracks

    Thanks for that.

    Are they branded roof racks?
    Who fit them?

It's a Frontrunner rack from South Africa. Opposite Lock in Australia are the agents for them. They come with no specific instructions and I had to fit myself, took a while too. It requires some mods to the car and mounting hardware but nothing too dramatic.

Although you could take it on/off as you needed I'm really too lazy for that. I should really have it off now as I'm not camping in the winter but come summer I'll be going every few weeks. They a good solid racks and built to last but it depends what you want. A set of Rola racks are certainly cheaper but no where near as functional.

For the occasional times I need to put skis or a surfboard on my roof, I went for Thule. Quick and easy to put on and take off, maybe a bit ugly, but I can live with that.
