Thread: Fl2 cv's?

Normally yes but I have had then click from new and the front right one on my FL1 has been clicking since I have had it an I have put 95,000km on it and it is still going fine but clicks on turns.

If it was me I would wait and see - if it gets worse replace.

I had/have the same noise in my FL2 at 30k. The dealer diagnosed the front cv's and then replaced one side only, surprise surprise the noise is now gone from one side but still on the other.

They're getting back to me (3 weeks and counting)

Get it booked in and get it fixed while you still have warranty.

What year is yours? Wonder if it was a faulty batch or a design fault.

Mines a late 08 model. Thanks I will get the dealer to look at it.

I was just coming on here to post about cv's. Mine is an 09 model and has only done 9k kms and I can already hear a clicking sound when I turn and pull into my driveway, that is pathetic if they are already screwed.

I had this recently on my 08 TD4. Very loud clicking from front/right side. Had been going for a while and I was waiting for the next service.

Took it in last week, all the service team looked up when they heard the clicking as I turned into the parking bay - so no description required from me.

On pick up I was told they could find nothing wrong with it and that they were baffled. Everything looked good and when they lowered it to check the noise, it wasn't there.

1 week has passed and no sign of the clicking.
