    Rock slidders

    Who made your rock slidders and what did they cost, pics would be good.

    Hi Jay
    Here are mine, I made them about a year ago cost me about $90 in steel and was just painted with enamel with a primer. Those current ones are just in the shed at the moment. I have since made a MK2 version with better mounts (you can use the hi lift on them) and the whole slider body has been bent to follow the body of the D2, which makes it look stacks better. The later version was also powdercoated, which also looks better. Both versions are sill mounted, which works well for me.

    What filthy car Hendrik? i thought that was how a discovery was ment to look. Have you ever made any slidders for anyone else, if interested let me know.

    Since we are talking about dirty Discos here is a pic of mine Oh and you can see the sliders with the tree fender as well.
    Sliders are from Justin (Dranged) they were $700 fitted, he was talking about making some more however you will have to have a chat to him, they are excellent quality.
